- Third-quarter revenue increased as immunology and neuroscience led portfolio growth.
- AbbVie lifted its full-year adjusted earnings outlook despite acquired research and development costs.
- The etentamig filing adds a regulatory milestone to the oncology pipeline.
AbbVie reported stronger third-quarter business on Friday, October 30, 2026, and raised its full-year adjusted earnings outlook. The company also highlighted its submission of a biologics license application for etentamig, giving investors two fresh signals on earnings momentum and pipeline development.
Revenue growth broadens across key businesses
According to the AbbVie investor release, third-quarter net revenue rose 10.3 percent on a reported basis to 17.404 billion US dollars. Immunology revenue increased 16.3 percent, led by Skyrizi and Rinvoq, while neuroscience revenue gained 19.4 percent. Oncology revenue was broadly stable, and aesthetics revenue declined modestly.
Adjusted diluted earnings per share reached 3.82 US dollars. AbbVie said the result included an unfavorable 0.11 US dollar impact from acquired research and development and milestone expense. The company raised its 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share range from 13.76 to 13.96 US dollars to 13.95 to 13.99 US dollars; the new range includes 0.69 US dollars of year-to-date acquired research and development and milestone expense.
Pipeline filing adds a regulatory milestone
AbbVie submitted a biologics license application to the US Food and Drug Administration for etentamig in adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The company said the application is supported by Phase 3 CERVINO results, including a 74 percent overall response rate and a 60 percent progression-free-survival measure versus investigator choice of standard therapies. Etentamig remains an investigational treatment, so the filing marks a regulatory step rather than an approval.
The board also raised the quarterly cash dividend from 1.73 US dollars to 1.82 US dollars. The new payout is scheduled to begin with the dividend payable on February 16, 2027, for shareholders of record on January 15, 2027.
