- Adani Enterprises expanded revenue and EBITDA in the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
- Copper operations, airports, solar manufacturing and data centers shaped the latest business update.
- A prior-year exceptional gain and a first-half settlement charge distorted reported profit comparisons.
Adani Enterprises reported stronger operating performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, while reported profit declined against an unusually high comparison base. The company announced the results on Wednesday, October 28, in its official results release.
Higher earnings across core businesses
Consolidated revenue rose 74 percent year over year to INR 38,023 crore in Q2 FY27. EBITDA increased 62 percent to INR 6,316 crore, while continuing profit before tax climbed 146 percent to INR 2,002 crore.
The operating expansion reflected the ramp-up of the copper business and higher contributions from airports. Copper sales volume reached 80.6 kilotons in the quarter, compared with 11.8 kilotons a year earlier. Airport EBITDA rose 55 percent year over year to INR 1,641 crore.
Exceptional items shape profit comparison
Profit after tax attributable to owners fell 55 percent to INR 1,492 crore from INR 3,304 crore in Q2 FY26. The prior-year period included an exceptional gain of INR 3,583 crore, making the year-on-year comparison less representative of underlying operating momentum.
For the first half of FY27, revenue increased 62 percent to INR 71,569 crore and EBITDA rose 56 percent to INR 11,958 crore. Half-year profit after tax was INR 332 crore after a one-time INR 2,644 crore settlement charge in the first quarter related to the US Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Expansion remains central to outlook
Adani Enterprises said its solar manufacturing line had reached 10 gigawatts of module capacity after a September expansion. Its data-center subsidiary also received a new 240-megawatt hyperscale order in Navi Mumbai, taking cumulative tied-up capacity above 1.2 gigawatts.
These developments support the company’s strategy of scaling newer infrastructure businesses, but they also leave investors focused on capital intensity, execution and the conversion of operating growth into recurring profit.
