- JINS selected Adyen for unified omnichannel payments across its Japanese retail network.
- Adyen reported strong third-quarter growth across Digital, Unified Commerce and Platforms.
- Management is prioritizing investment while maintaining its full-year revenue growth outlook.
Adyen announced on Monday, November 2, 2026, that Japanese eyewear retailer JINS HOLDINGS had selected its platform for omnichannel payments. The rollout follows an initial launch at JINS's Kichijoji flagship store in late September and will extend across 150 Japanese locations from November, according to Adyen.
JINS will bring online and in-store transactions onto one payment platform. Store employees can use Adyen's mobile solution with Tap to Pay on iPhone to handle consultations, product selection and payment on the sales floor rather than sending customers to a central register.
The partnership gives Adyen another enterprise retail deployment in Japan and supports JINS's international expansion. Adyen said the unified architecture is intended to reduce checkout friction, improve the retailer's view of customer transactions and avoid separate integrations for local payment services in markets supported by its platform.
Third-Quarter Growth Meets Investment
The JINS announcement follows Adyen's business update for the quarter ended September 30. On October 28, the company reported net revenue of 738.1 million euros, up 23 percent year over year, while processed volume rose 30 percent to 451.1 billion euros. Digital net revenue increased 16 percent to 387.4 million euros, Unified Commerce revenue gained 29 percent to 250.5 million euros and Platforms revenue advanced 46 percent to 100.2 million euros, according to Adyen's Q3 business update.
Management kept its 2026 constant-currency net revenue growth objective at 21 to 23 percent. At the same time, Adyen now expects a 50 percent EBITDA margin for 2026 and has discontinued its medium-term EBITDA objective as it accelerates spending on its team, platform and products. The company said it will provide 2027 financial objectives with its second-half results in February 2027.
