- Management maintained its target for positive organic adjusted EBITA growth in 2026.
Azelis reported stronger operating momentum in the third quarter on October 22, 2026, with growth accelerating across its regions and business lines. The company said revenue rose 8.5% at constant exchange rates to 1.122 billion euros, including organic growth of 8.2% and a 0.3% contribution from acquisitions. The figures were published in an announcement carried on the Financial Times.
Azelis stock traded at 11.63 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:14 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Azelis stock for the latest market indication.
Profit growth outpaces revenue
Adjusted EBITA increased 14.6% to 114 million euros, with organic growth contributing 14.3%. The adjusted EBITA margin widened to 10.2% from 9.7% a year earlier. Gross profit rose 8.8% to 263 million euros, while the gross profit margin edged up to 23.4%.
The regional performance was broad-based. EMEA revenue increased 8.1% at constant exchange rates to 499 million euros, the Americas grew 8.0% to 405 million euros, and Asia Pacific advanced 10.2% to 218 million euros. Industrial Chemicals was the strongest business line, with revenue up 21.0% to 451 million euros, while Life Sciences grew 1.5% to 671 million euros.
The results also contained a significant non-cash charge. Azelis recognised a 350 million euro goodwill impairment linked mainly to acquisitions in the Americas completed between 2021 and 2023. The charge reduces reported profit, assets and equity but does not directly affect cash flow, working capital or net debt.
Cash flow remains a watchpoint
Free cash flow fell to 67 million euros from 142 million euros in the prior-year quarter as working capital investment increased. Net debt stood at 1.6 billion euros and leverage was 3.46 times at the end of September. For the first nine months, revenue reached 3.288 billion euros, up 4.9% at constant exchange rates, while adjusted EBITA rose 6.1% to 347 million euros.
Chief Executive Anna Bertona said the earlier green shoots had taken root despite continued market volatility. Management remains confident of delivering positive organic adjusted EBITA growth for the full year, while cautioning that volume growth varies across end markets and visibility remains limited.
