BP’s third-quarter outlook
BP said the projected production range mainly reflects recovery from seasonal maintenance, partly offset by a reduced equity interest in Latin America. The company expects gas and low-carbon-energy production of 775 to 795 mboe/d and oil production and operations output of 1,415 to 1,445 mboe/d in the third quarter.
The company said the impairment charges would primarily relate to transition businesses in its gas and low-carbon-energy segment and would be excluded from underlying replacement cost profit. BP is scheduled to publish its third-quarter results on October 30, 2026, according to the company release.
