Carlsberg Britvic adds a 10-year project

Water targets put scale on the strategy

The initiative is tied to a target of replenishing 100 percent of water consumed at production sites in high-risk areas by 2032. At the Rugby site, annual water use is approximately 1 million cubic meters, while the interim 2028 milestone is 400,000 cubic meters per year, according to BeverageDaily.

Current project assumptions point to more than 328,000 cubic meters of annual replenishment. That figure is below the 400,000-cubic-meter 2028 milestone, making project delivery and monitoring the practical test of the strategy.

Britvic's listed chapter ended

For stock investors, the key distinction is ownership rather than daily trading: Britvic is now a private operating business within Carlsberg Britvic. Echo.ie reported on September 7, 2026, that Carlsberg expected operating profit growth of 4.00 percent to 6.00 percent from 2025 figures and planned to deliver approximately GBP 55.0 million of the GBP 110.0 million synergy target in 2026.
