Cloudflare stock: Workers AI exposure involved 155 responses

What happened in Workers AI

Cloudflare said all affected responses followed prompts longer than 681,280 tokens. The model had a 1,048,576-token context window, while the prefill key-value cache held less capacity. A rejection-handling bug in the open-source SGLang inference engine then allowed the decode stage to read stale cache pages from earlier requests.

Cloudflare said it found no evidence of deliberate exploitation and identified no other affected Workers AI model. The company restored GLM-5.3 on September 9 after increasing the cache pool to about 2.04 million tokens and applying engine fixes. SGLang versions 0.5.20 through 0.5.22 included related upstream fixes, according to Cloudflare.
