Published on 11/04/2026 at 18:14 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWS
Drägerwerk stock trades at 106.90 euros after a 2.99 percent rise from the previous report. Nine-month sales grew, but Q3 EBIT fell and 2026 targets stayed unchanged.

Sales growth meets execution pressure

  • Nine-month sales increased on a currency-adjusted basis, led by gains in both divisions.
  • Third-quarter EBIT declined, while customs refunds supported the nine-month result and management retained its 2026 targets.

Drägerwerk reported stronger nine-month sales and EBIT on October 29, while weaker third-quarter profitability kept execution in focus. The figures were published in an EQS News release.

What has changed since our last report

Drägerwerk stock traded at 106.90 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:05 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 0.28 percent above the Xetra close of 106.60 euros from the same day. Compared with the 103.80-euro quote in the own report published on November 3, the stock was 2.99 percent higher. This separate comparison provided the latest market development since that report.

The company increased currency-adjusted order intake by 3.6 percent to 2,673.5 million euros in the first nine months. Net sales rose 5.3 percent to 2,453.9 million euros from 2,343.5 million euros a year earlier. EBIT reached 111.8 million euros, compared with 77.1 million euros in the prior-year period.

Safety demand offsets medical weakness

The divisions delivered different order trends. Medical technology order intake declined 3.5 percent to 1,430.7 million euros, while safety technology increased order intake by 13.1 percent to 1,242.8 million euros. Sales grew 4.4 percent in medical technology and 6.5 percent in safety technology.

Third-quarter order intake rose 7.0 percent to 926.2 million euros and sales increased 1.0 percent to 850.8 million euros, both on a currency-adjusted basis. Q3 EBIT fell to 48.0 million euros from 56.7 million euros, reducing the EBIT margin to 5.6 percent from 6.8 percent.

One-off support raises execution focus

Nine-month EBIT included 27.9 million euros in customs refunds. Functional expenses increased 5.6 percent, driven by personnel, logistics and IT costs, making the quality of the earnings improvement important for investors.

Drägerwerk retained its 2026 forecast for currency-adjusted sales growth of 2.0 to 6.0 percent and an EBIT margin of 6.0 to 8.0 percent. The fourth quarter will determine how strongly the company converts demand, especially in safety technology, into profitable growth.
