Equinix reported stronger operating performance for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, and raised its full-year outlook for the third consecutive quarter. The company announced the results on Wednesday, October 28, in an investor-relations release.

Third-quarter revenue rose 11 percent year over year to 2.571 billion US dollars on an as-reported basis. On a normalized and constant-currency basis, revenue increased 12 percent. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 15 percent to 1.321 billion US dollars, while the adjusted EBITDA margin reached 51 percent.

Recurring demand remains broad

Monthly recurring revenue grew by double digits for the fourth consecutive quarter on a normalized and constant-currency basis. Interconnection revenue increased 10 percent, with Equinix Fabric revenue rising 24 percent. Annualized gross bookings reached a record 533 million US dollars, up 35 percent from a year earlier, and the company added 6,900 net interconnections.

Net income attributable to common stockholders rose 31 percent to 489 million US dollars, or 4.93 US dollars per diluted share. The company said the result benefited from a non-recurring fee related to its investment in the atNorth joint venture. Diluted AFFO increased 18 percent to 11.64 US dollars per share, or 12 percent on a normalized and constant-currency basis excluding the atNorth fee.

Guidance moves higher again

Equinix now expects 2026 revenue of 10.325 billion to 10.365 billion US dollars, compared with its previous range of 10.205 billion to 10.285 billion US dollars. Adjusted EBITDA guidance rose to 5.290 billion to 5.330 billion US dollars, implying a margin of about 51 percent. AFFO per share is now projected at 43.71 to 44.11 US dollars, versus the previous range of 42.69 to 43.29 US dollars.

For the fourth quarter, management expects revenue of 2.684 billion to 2.724 billion US dollars and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 49 to 50 percent. Total capital expenditures for 2026, excluding real-estate acquisitions and xScale, remain expected at 5 billion to 6 billion US dollars.

Management linked the outlook to demand across connectivity and artificial-intelligence workloads. Equinix also highlighted Fabric One, Equinix Inference Exchange and new liquid-cooling facilities as products intended to support enterprise and AI infrastructure demand. The capacity program calls for nearly 40 percent more cabinets to be delivered in 2026 than initially anticipated.

The real-time quote of Equinix stock was 911.20 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 11:06 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026. The release and the operating figures keep recurring revenue, bookings conversion, capital spending and the contribution from atNorth central to the investment case.
