Fortinet is hosting its virtual Security Operations Summit on Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5, 2026. The event focuses on how artificial intelligence is changing cyber threats, defense priorities and security operations.
Fortinet announced the program in a Fortinet blog post published on October 19. The two-hour program brings together Fortinet specialists, IDC and customers to examine AI-powered threats, cyber-defense practices and the role of agentic AI in security operations centers.
Security operations move toward agentic AI
The agenda addresses two priorities. The first is detecting and preventing malicious activity at the point of attack across workspaces, endpoints and networks. The second is using agentic AI to support investigation and response workflows in the security operations center.
Derek Manky of FortiGuard Labs is scheduled to discuss how AI is changing cyber risk. Duncan Brown of IDC will offer an independent view of security modernization and where automation can create practical benefits. Fortinet experts will present the company's technology vision and demonstrate capabilities linked to these priorities.
H-E Parts International will add a customer perspective. Jill Renfroe, the company's vice president of global IT, is scheduled to join Fortinet senior vice president of product management Ben Wilson for a discussion about security modernization, technology choices and the protection of operations and intellectual property.
