- Galderma reported broad-based expansion across aesthetics, skincare and therapeutic dermatology.
- Nemluvio was the main growth engine in the therapeutic dermatology portfolio.
- The ZO Skin Health acquisition is expected to close in late 2026 or early 2027.
Galderma stock traded at 205.00 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:14 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026, 0.49 percent below the Xetra close of Thursday, October 29. The move followed a strong nine-month trading update in which Galderma raised its full-year sales outlook.
Galderma announced the update on October 22. In its company release, the Swiss dermatology group reported nine-month net sales of 4.765 billion US dollars, up 25.1 percent year on year at constant currency. Third-quarter sales growth reached 26.0 percent at constant currency.
Therapeutic dermatology leads expansion
Growth was broad-based, but therapeutic dermatology remained the main contributor. Sales in that category increased 64.4 percent at constant currency to 1.347 billion US dollars in the first nine months. Nemluvio generated 735 million US dollars, compared with 263 million US dollars a year earlier.
Injectable Aesthetics sales rose 13.2 percent to 2.174 billion US dollars, while Dermatological Skincare increased 16.2 percent to 1.244 billion US dollars. Within Injectable Aesthetics, neuromodulator sales grew 16.9 percent to 1.259 billion US dollars. The company said volume was the primary growth driver, supported by a favorable product mix.
Galderma raised its 2026 net-sales growth guidance to 22.5-23.5 percent at constant currency from 19-21 percent previously. It maintained its Core EBITDA margin target at approximately 26 percent at constant currency. The guidance excludes the potential contribution from the planned ZO Skin Health acquisition.
Acquisition adds a strategic catalyst
Galderma agreed in October to acquire ZO Skin Health for an enterprise value of 1.5 billion US dollars in an all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 or early 2027, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
Management expects the transaction to be slightly dilutive to the Core EBITDA margin in 2027, with the margin expected to return broadly to the group's average from 2028. Galderma also expects the acquisition to be Core EPS neutral in the first full year after closing. The company plans to increase commercial investment during the first year of ownership to support renewed growth thereafter.
Investors weigh momentum and execution
Reuters reported that Galderma shares rose as much as 5.8 percent in morning trading after the October 22 update. The report also highlighted strong demand for therapeutic dermatology products and management's assessment of tariff and cost pressures. That reaction provides context for the subsequent trading range, but does not establish that Friday's Lang & Schwarz move was caused by any single factor.
For investors, the higher outlook strengthens the near-term growth case, while the valuation and execution burden remain relevant. The next focus areas are continued Nemluvio demand, the performance of the aesthetics portfolio, and the timing and integration of ZO Skin Health.
