GE Vernova is using ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi to showcase gas-power, grid-modernization and carbon-management technologies as energy companies focus on reliable and lower-carbon electricity systems. The company is a Gold Sponsor at the event, which runs from November 2 through November 5, according to ZAWYA.
Gas power meets grid modernization
At Stand 7135 in Hall 7, GE Vernova is presenting H-class gas turbines for utilities, power plant operators and industrial customers. The company says the turbines are designed to respond to changing demand, integrate renewable generation and support future carbon-capture applications. Configurations also support hydrogen blending of up to 50% by volume.
The Electrification portfolio includes synchronous condensers, digital substations, GridBeats automation and protection systems, and GridOS orchestration software. These technologies are aimed at grid stability, operational visibility and reliability for energy-intensive facilities.
Carbon solutions add another focus
GE Vernova is also highlighting direct-air-capture technology, exhaust-gas recirculation, hydrogen-enabled gas-power applications and SF6-free grid equipment. CERius software is part of the company's emissions-management offering. The presentation links power generation, grid infrastructure and emissions reduction rather than treating them as separate investment themes.
Joseph Anis, President and CEO of Gas Power Europe, Middle East and Africa at GE Vernova, said the company sees gas power, renewables and grid modernization working together to support energy security and lower emissions. His comments frame the exhibition as a showcase for execution across the broader energy system, not as a new financial forecast.
What investors should watch next
GE Vernova has scheduled a November 3 presentation on the digital substation experience in the Middle East, followed by a November 4 session on combined-cycle power plants with carbon capture. A November 5 executive panel will address grid modernization as a constraint on energy growth. The company also says its Grid Automation and Software business is investing in a UAE customer experience center expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
