- Cash generation and refinancing strengthened Grifols' financial flexibility.

Grifols reported stronger third-quarter results on November 2, 2026, as Biopharma demand lifted revenue and profitability. Yahoo Finance reported on November 3 that the company also improved cash generation and reduced leverage while keeping its full-year guidance unchanged.
According to Yahoo Finance, quarterly revenue reached EUR 2.04 billion, up 8.4 percent at constant currency and above the EUR 1.98 billion consensus estimate. Net profit rose 27.9 percent to EUR 162 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased 9.8 percent at constant currency to EUR 538 million, producing a 26.4 percent margin.
Biopharma Drives The Quarter
Biopharma revenue grew 10.3 percent at constant currency. Immunoglobulin sales increased 11.3 percent, with subcutaneous immunoglobulin advancing 40.3 percent. Alpha-1 and specialty proteins also expanded, although albumin revenue declined 13.2 percent amid regulatory factors and elevated inventory levels in China.
Balance Sheet Progress Continues
Free cash flow before mergers and acquisitions reached EUR 208 million during the quarter. Net leverage declined to 3.98 times from 4.2 times a year earlier, while liquidity rose to EUR 2.14 billion. Grifols also refinanced obligations due in 2027, leaving no significant debt maturities until the fourth quarter of 2028.
Management expects to report topline results from the Phase 3 SPARTA study by the end of the fourth quarter. Investors will also track the expansion of plasma collection in Egypt and whether immunoglobulin demand can offset continued weakness in albumin.
