GSK heads into two investor conferences next week, giving the pharmaceutical group a series of fresh opportunities to discuss its pipeline and growth priorities with the market. According to GSK's investor calendar, the company will attend the Guggenheim Healthcare Conference in Boston on Monday, November 9, and the UBS European Conference in London on Tuesday, November 10.
Two Investor Dates In Focus
Kaivan Khavandi, GSK's senior vice president and head of Respiratory, Immunology and Inflammation research and development, is scheduled to attend the Guggenheim event. David Redfern, president of Corporate Development, will represent GSK at the UBS conference. The calendar does not describe these appearances as earnings announcements, but both are company-related investor events with a direct connection to GSK's research portfolio and corporate development agenda.
The backdrop is the company's latest quarterly performance. In its October 28 results release, GSK reported third-quarter sales of GBP 8.9 billion, up 5 percent at constant exchange rates. Specialty Medicines sales rose 15 percent to GBP 3.9 billion, led by HIV, Respiratory, Immunology and Inflammation, and Oncology.
Vaccines sales declined 2 percent to GBP 2.6 billion, with Shingrix down 5 percent and Arexvy down 24 percent. GSK nevertheless reaffirmed its 2026 guidance for turnover growth of 3 to 5 percent, core operating profit growth of 7 to 9 percent and core earnings-per-share growth of 7 to 9 percent.
Pipeline And Guidance Set Context
Investors are likely to focus on how GSK plans to convert recent approvals and late-stage research activity into sustained growth. The company said it was on track to start 22 Phase III trials in 2026, with 18 starts already completed when the third-quarter results were released. That pipeline activity sits alongside the group's stated 2031 sales outlook of more than GBP 40 billion.
GSK stock traded at 22.68 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:03 CET on Sunday, November 8.
