Foxconn revenue and AI outlook

  • Hon Hai posted its strongest-ever monthly revenue in October as all four major product groups grew year over year.
  • Foxconn expects AI-related business to expand in the fourth quarter, while supply constraints and model ramp-ups weighed on cloud and networking sales against September.
  • Investors will next focus on the company's third-quarter results conference on November 12.

Foxconn reported record consolidated revenue for October on Thursday, November 5, as demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure supported growth across its business. The report gives investors a fresh view of the electronics manufacturer's momentum ahead of its third-quarter results conference.

Revenue reached NT$1.3 trillion, according to Focus Taiwan. That was up 45.73 percent from October 2025 and 12.66 percent from September. It marked the second consecutive month in which monthly revenue exceeded NT$1 trillion.

AI demand supports fourth-quarter outlook

All four major product groups grew from a year earlier, led by cloud and networking products, followed by components and other products, smart consumer electronics, and computing products. Smart consumer electronics recorded the strongest month-on-month increase, helped by early shipments and higher selling prices.

Cloud and networking revenue slipped slightly from September despite continued demand for AI applications. Foxconn attributed that sequential decline to changes in its consignment model, supply constraints and the initial production ramp-up of new models. The contrast highlights both the strength of AI-related demand and the execution risks that can affect quarterly sales timing.

Revenue for the first ten months of 2026 reached a record NT$8.98 trillion, 40.40 percent above the same period a year earlier. Foxconn said it expects its AI-related business to keep growing in the fourth quarter, supported by the traditional peak season for information and communications technology products.

The company also said overall performance should remain in line with market expectations, while warning that volatility in the global political and economic environment requires close monitoring. Chairman Young Liu said in late October that AI data-center development would drive growth in stronger-performing parts of the global economy and that Hon Hai could maintain double-digit growth.
