- Revenue increased 28.6 percent to EUR 4.6447 billion in the first nine months of 2026.
- Backlog rose 133 percent to a record EUR 22.165 billion, supported by defence and space demand.
- Indra reaffirmed its 2026 revenue, EBIT and free-cash-flow targets.
Indra reported a strong nine-month performance on October 29, 2026, with double-digit growth in revenue, operating profit and backlog. The company also reaffirmed its full-year targets. At Lang & Schwarz, the stock stood at EUR 65.61 on October 29 at 16:33 Berlin time, 4.26 percent above the EUR 62.93 quote recorded in our October 27 report.
The company said in its investor-relations release that revenue for January through September rose 28.6 percent to EUR 4.6447 billion. Net income increased 22 percent to EUR 355.5 million, while EBITDA climbed 62.1 percent to EUR 657.4 million and EBIT advanced 42.4 percent to EUR 453.6 million.
Defence and space drive operating momentum
Defence revenue doubled to EUR 1.408 billion, while Space revenue rose 372.5 percent to EUR 286 million following the integration of Hispasat and Hisdesat. Air Traffic revenue increased 22.8 percent to EUR 446 million, while Mobility revenue grew 2.3 percent to EUR 264 million. Minsait revenue was broadly stable at EUR 2.240 billion, according to La Voz de Asturias.
Indra's backlog reached a record EUR 22.165 billion, up 133 percent year over year. Net order intake rose 81.7 percent to EUR 8.085 billion in the first nine months, with third-quarter intake accelerating 139 percent.
Cash flow benefits from programme prepayments
Free cash flow reached EUR 1.6917 billion, compared with EUR 57.5 million a year earlier. The reported improvement was driven by prepayments linked to Spain's Special Modernisation Programs, so investors should distinguish this cash timing effect from recurring operating performance. Net cash was EUR 1.1922 billion at the end of September, compared with net debt of EUR 113.6 million a year earlier.
Indra reiterated its 2026 objectives: revenue above EUR 7 billion in local currency, reported EBIT above EUR 700 million and free cash flow above EUR 375 million. The company also plans to present a new strategic plan at its Capital Markets Day in Madrid on November 25, 2026.
For investors, the latest figures add a new operating reference to the reporting sequence covered in the October 27 report. The current Lang & Schwarz quote is a market snapshot and is not presented as a causal reaction to the results.
