Intel's near-term outlook faces an additional supply risk after an explosion at its Kiryat Gat factory in Israel. Reuters reported on October 29 that the shutdown is expected to reduce revenue by roughly 600 million US dollars over two quarters.

Intel stock traded at 49.64 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:10 CET on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Factory Disruption Adds Execution Risk

Intel said the fourth-quarter revenue outlook would be reduced by roughly 300 million US dollars because of the incident, with a similar impact expected in the following quarter. The company was still assessing which wafers could be salvaged, while the Kiryat Ghat facility primarily produces data-center chips on Intel's 10-nanometer process.

The disruption adds pressure to a business already balancing strong server demand against a weaker PC market. Intel's chief financial officer David Zinsner said the company expected personal-computer weakness to continue through at least the first half of 2027.

Server Growth Meets PC Pressure

Intel's third-quarter revenue rose 21 percent year over year to 16.51 billion US dollars. Data Center and AI revenue increased 78 percent to 7.3 billion US dollars, while Client Computing and Physical AI revenue fell 5 percent to 8.1 billion US dollars.

For the fourth quarter, Intel expects revenue between 15 billion and 16 billion US dollars and adjusted earnings of 0.25 US dollars per share. The outlook leaves supply recovery, customer inventories and the PC correction as key factors for the next earnings cycle.
