Higher margins, lower revenue
Revenue for the quarter was RMB13.62 billion, equivalent to US$2.03 billion, down 15.7 percent from the third quarter of 2025 but up 10.2 percent from the second quarter. Solar-module shipments fell 25 percent year on year to 15,003 megawatts.
Gross profit rose to RMB1.67 billion from RMB513.1 million in the prior quarter. The company attributed the improvement to higher-efficiency products, ongoing cost optimization and a larger contribution from energy-storage systems.
Net loss attributable to ordinary shareholders narrowed to RMB170.0 million from RMB697.3 million in the second quarter and RMB749.8 million a year earlier. Adjusted net loss was RMB7.9 million, excluding fair-value changes in long-term investments, disposal gains, impairment and share-based compensation.
Storage and premium modules
Tiger Neo 3.0 shipments exceeded 5 gigawatts in the quarter and carried a premium of about US$0.01 per watt over conventional modules. Jinko also said energy-storage shipments recognized as revenue reached approximately 1.75 gigawatt-hours, matching the total recognized during all of 2025.
The company expects fourth-quarter module shipments of 16 gigawatts to 18 gigawatts and full-year 2026 energy-storage shipments of approximately 10 gigawatt-hours on a proof-of-delivery basis. It also expects about 40 gigawatts of high-efficiency production capacity by year-end.
