Jinko Holdings reported its unaudited third-quarter results on Friday, October 30, 2026, showing a sharp sequential improvement in profitability while annual revenue remained under pressure. The company said total revenue reached RMB13.62 billion for the quarter ended September 30, down 15.7 percent from a year earlier but up 10.2 percent from the second quarter, according to Morningstar's report.

Margin recovery leads quarterly update

Gross profit climbed to RMB1.67 billion, while gross margin increased to 12.3 percent from 4.2 percent in the second quarter and 7.3 percent a year earlier. Management attributed the improvement to cost optimization, a greater share of high-efficiency products and a stronger contribution from energy storage systems.

Net loss attributable to ordinary shareholders narrowed to RMB170.0 million from RMB697.3 million in the second quarter and RMB749.8 million in the year-earlier period. Adjusted net loss was RMB7.9 million after excluding fair-value changes in long-term investments, disposal gains, long-lived-asset impairment and share-based compensation.

Storage and premium modules gain weight

Solar-module shipments totaled 15,003 megawatts, down 6.0 percent sequentially and 25.0 percent year over year. More than 5 gigawatts came from Tiger Neo 3.0 modules, which carried a premium of about 1 US cent per watt over conventional modules. Energy-storage shipments recognized as revenue reached approximately 1.75 gigawatt-hours, matching the total recognized during 2025.

Jinko Holdings expects fourth-quarter module shipments between 16 and 18 gigawatts and full-year 2026 energy-storage shipments of approximately 10 gigawatt-hours on a proof-of-delivery basis. The company also expects about 40 gigawatts of high-efficiency production capacity meeting Level 1 national energy-efficiency requirements by year-end.
