L'Oréal reported a strong third quarter on October 22, with sales growth accelerating across its beauty portfolio. For the first nine months of 2026, sales reached 35.33 billion euros, up 7.7 percent on a reported basis and 6.9 percent like-for-like. The figures come from the company's official sales release.

The third quarter generated sales of 11.5614 billion euros, representing reported growth of 11.9 percent and like-for-like growth of 7.2 percent. On L'Oréal's adjusted like-for-like measure, which accounts for the timing of its information-technology transformation, growth reached 7.7 percent in the quarter. The company said growth was driven predominantly by product mix and volume.

All Divisions Contribute

Professional Products was the fastest-growing division during the first nine months, with sales up 12.3 percent on an adjusted like-for-like basis. Dermatological Beauty followed with growth of 11.6 percent, while L'Oréal Luxe advanced 5.8 percent and Consumer Products rose 4.2 percent.

Fragrances and haircare remained key growth engines, while skincare continued to accelerate. L'Oréal also said its e-commerce business grew by around 17 percent, ahead of the online market. The group completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Innovist, a digital-first Indian personal-care house of brands, during the period.

Regional momentum was strongest in South Asia Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, where adjusted like-for-like growth reached 15.8 percent. Europe grew 7.0 percent, North America 6.3 percent and North Asia 5.5 percent on the same basis. Latin America advanced 2.4 percent, with strong growth in Brazil offsetting weaker conditions in Mexico.

Management Sees Further Growth

Chief Executive Nicolas Hieronimus described the third quarter as exceptional and said the group was outperforming the global beauty market. He highlighted innovation, e-commerce and the use of artificial intelligence as strategic advantages. Based on the first nine months, management expects another year of sales and profit growth while strengthening L'Oréal's global leadership.

The Realtime-Kurs der L'Oreal-Aktie lag am Freitag, 30. Oktober 2026, um 09:40 Uhr Berliner Zeit bei Lang & Schwarz bei 428,85 Euro, 1,03 Prozent ĂŒber dem Xetra-Schlusskurs vom Donnerstag, 29. Oktober.

For investors, the update confirms that L'Oréal is still converting brand innovation and regional expansion into broad-based sales growth. The mix of faster growth in professional products and dermatological beauty with a recovery in luxury supports the group's premium positioning, while currency movements remain a factor for reported results.
