Lufthansa Group plans to resume its Dubai connections on November 25, after postponing the return because of the situation and outlook in the Middle East. The decision, announced on Friday, October 23, gives investors a fresh operational milestone ahead of the group's third-quarter results on Tuesday, November 3.
Aero.de reported that Lufthansa and SWISS had originally planned to restart Dubai services on October 25, while Eurowings had targeted November 1. The revised timetable shifts the group-wide return to November 25. Affected passengers were to receive rebooking options or refunds, according to the report.
What changes for investors
The delay leaves the Dubai restart as a near-term test of Lufthansa's network planning and demand recovery. It also keeps regional security conditions relevant to capacity decisions, while the upcoming quarterly release may provide the next material update on earnings and traffic trends.
