MercadoLibre announced an expansion of its Mendoza logistics network on October 23, 2026, including an US$8 million last-mile center, according to BNamericas. The project is part of Mercado Libre's 2026 investment plan in Argentina.

The new center in Luján de Cuyo covers 11,000 square meters and is designed to process up to 96,000 packages per day. Mercado Libre said the facility will generate 1,050 direct and indirect jobs. The company is also adding five weekly air-shipping frequencies through the cargo holds of Aerolíneas Argentinas' commercial flights, according to BNamericas.
Mercado Libre also selected J.P. Morgan Payments for its Global Selling program serving U.S.-based businesses selling across Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Uruguay, according to J.P. Morgan.
