- Nexi will publish its nine-month 2026 results on November 5, giving investors the next test of revenue growth and cash generation.
- First-half net revenue rose 1.0 percent, while adjusted EBITDA was broadly stable and Merchant Solutions declined.
- Analyst Stock Analyza sees valuation support from cash generation but rates the shares as a hold rather than a buy.
Nexi stock heads into its next reporting date with investors focused on whether the payment group can improve on limited first-half growth. Nexi is scheduled to present its nine-month 2026 results on Thursday, November 5, according to the company's investor-relations calendar and an analysis by Stock Analyza.
At Lang & Schwarz, Nexi stock traded at 4.35 euros at 09:47 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026. The next company update will show whether the group is moving closer to its full-year targets after a mixed first half.
Revenue growth remains restrained
Nexi reported net revenue of 1.736 billion euros for the six months ended June 30, 2026, an increase of 1.0 percent from the prior-year period, according to Stock Analyza. Adjusted EBITDA reached 870 million euros, up 0.1 percent, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 50.1 percent.
The segment picture was uneven. Merchant Solutions generated 976 million euros and declined 0.8 percent, while Issuing Solutions grew 3.0 percent to 571 million euros. Digital Banking Solutions increased 4.5 percent to 189 million euros. Stock Analyza said management attributed underlying first-half growth of about 5 percent to the exclusion of bank customers lost through mergers and acquisitions and bank contract renegotiations.
Cash generation is the key test
Nexi's reported net profit attributable to shareholders was 115 million euros in the first half, compared with 88 million euros a year earlier. Normalized net profit reached 354 million euros, up 7.0 percent, highlighting the impact of amortization and other accounting effects on the reported figure.
Excess cash reached 400 million euros in the first half. Management's 2026 framework calls for about 750 million euros of excess cash, broadly stable absolute EBITDA after strategic investments and net revenue growth broadly in line with 2025, according to the analysis. The company also plans a dividend of 0.30 euros per share, subject to the relevant corporate approval.
That guidance places the burden on the second half. Stock Analyza calculated that the full-year cash target would require about 350 million euros in excess cash during the second half, while management expects second-half cost growth of 5 percent to 6 percent. Investors will therefore watch cash conversion and margin performance alongside revenue.
Valuation leaves room for debate
Stock Analyza assigned Nexi a base value of 6.24 euros per share and a maximum buy price of 3.12 euros under its own valuation framework. It rated the shares as a hold for existing investors and a watchlist name for new money, citing the gap between the current price and its valuation as well as risks from leverage, merchant pricing pressure and company-defined cash metrics.
The analysis also highlighted net financial debt of 5.098 billion euros at June 30, equal to 2.7 times EBITDA. Nexi's next major balance-sheet milestone is a 500 million euro equity-linked bond maturity scheduled for April 2027. A stronger nine-month performance could support confidence in the cash-generation outlook, while weaker Merchant Solutions revenue would keep pressure on the investment case.
