- Nexi will present its nine-month 2026 results on November 5, with revenue, margins and cash conversion in focus.
- First-half net revenue rose 1.0 percent, while adjusted EBITDA remained broadly stable.
- Merchant Solutions declined, leaving stronger Issuing Solutions and Digital Banking growth to offset pressure on the largest segment.
Nexi stock traded at 4.57 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 11:37:41 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 0.88 percent above the Xetra close of Tuesday, November 3. The payments group will present its nine-month 2026 results on Thursday, November 5. Stock Analyza's analysis puts cash conversion, margins and Merchant Solutions at the center of the upcoming review.
According to Stock Analyza, Nexi generated first-half net revenue of 1.736 billion euros in the six months ended June 30, up 1.0 percent year over year at constant exchange rates. Adjusted EBITDA reached 870 million euros, with a 50.1 percent margin, while normalized net profit rose 7.0 percent to 354 million euros. Reported net profit attributable to shareholders was 115 million euros, compared with 88 million euros a year earlier.
Segment mix remains uneven
Merchant Solutions, Nexi's largest business, produced 976 million euros of first-half revenue and declined 0.8 percent. Issuing Solutions grew 3.0 percent to 571 million euros, while Digital Banking Solutions advanced 4.5 percent to 189 million euros. The mix leaves the November release with a clear operating question: can growth in issuing and digital banking offset weaker acquiring activity?
Management's 2026 framework calls for net revenue growth broadly in line with 2025, broadly stable absolute EBITDA after strategic investments and approximately 750 million euros of excess cash. First-half excess cash stood at 400 million euros, according to the analysis. The second-half update will therefore show whether Nexi can convert stable operating earnings into cash while investing in the business.
Debt and shareholder returns matter
Net financial debt reached 5.098 billion euros at June 30, equal to 2.7 times EBITDA. The company also plans a 0.30-euro dividend per share for 2026 under its capital-allocation framework. Investors will weigh that distribution against debt reduction and the 500 million euro equity-linked bond due in April 2027.
The first-half figures show why the earnings release matters more than the headline revenue growth alone. A stable EBITDA margin supports the cash-generation case, but pressure in Merchant Solutions and higher investment could limit the amount available for distributions. A stronger cash outcome would improve confidence in the framework; a weaker one would reinforce concerns about low growth and leverage.
