Nibe Industrier stock weighs profit recovery against tariff risk

- Second-quarter results strengthened the case for a recovery in group profitability.
- Climate Solutions and Element are providing support, while Stoves remains the main constraint.
- New US tariffs have lowered the Stoves margin outlook and keep execution risk in focus.
Nibe Industrier's second-quarter improvement has strengthened the profitability case, but tariff pressure continues to complicate the outlook for its Stoves business. The investment debate now turns on whether stronger performance in Climate Solutions and Element can offset the weaker division.
In an analysis published on October 20, 2026, Simply Wall St said NIBE Industrier reported second-quarter revenue of SEK 10.849 billion and net income of SEK 751 million. Net margin rose to 6.9 percent from 4.9 percent in the comparable quarter, supporting the view that the recovery is reaching the bottom line.
Segment Recovery Remains Uneven
The improvement is not spread evenly across the group. Simply Wall St points to stronger Climate Solutions and Element performance, while Stoves continues to face weaker demand and higher costs. That split matters because the larger businesses can support group earnings, but the Stoves division may limit the pace of further margin expansion.
The analysis also highlights a revised Stoves margin outlook of 6 to 8 percent after new US tariffs. The lower range challenges the idea of a straightforward return to higher profitability and leaves investors focused on pricing, cost absorption and demand recovery in the division.
For shareholders, the central question is therefore not only whether revenue continues to grow. It is whether Nibe can convert that growth into durable earnings improvement while tariff-related costs weigh on Stoves. A sustained recovery in the stronger businesses would support the earnings case; persistent weakness in Stoves would keep the valuation debate open.
