Novo Nordisk announced on Thursday, October 29, that it will present 26 abstracts from its obesity portfolio at ObesityWeek 2026 in Washington, D.C. The conference runs from November 14 to 17 and will broaden the flow of clinical and real-world evidence around the company's obesity medicines.
The announcement was carried by BioSpace from a Novo Nordisk release. The program includes new analyses of investigational CagriSema, real-world treatment experience with oral and injectable Wegovy, and research on investigational semaglutide injection in children aged 6 to under 12.
Pipeline and real-world evidence
CagriSema presentations will include primary results from REDEFINE 9, which tested lower doses, as well as post-hoc analyses from the pivotal REDEFINE 1 trial. The company also plans presentations on physical and psychosocial function, weight-loss trajectories and obesity-related complications.
Wegovy-related work will cover treatment preferences among older and younger adults, telehealth outcomes, food noise, patient-reported outcomes and experience with a digital support program. The STEP-YOUNG trial will provide full results on once-weekly investigational semaglutide injection combined with diet and increased physical activity in children aged 6 to under 12.
Novo Nordisk stock traded at 35.47 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:37 CEST on Friday, October 30, 2026. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Novo Nordisk stock.
CagriSema is not approved in the United States or elsewhere, according to the announcement. The cited pediatric semaglutide use is also investigational and is not approved in the United States for children under 12. The ObesityWeek program is therefore a data and development catalyst, not a regulatory approval.
Broader developments can be followed in the current market reports.
