Partners Group is reshaping its evergreen fund structure, while analysts trim their valuation view for Partners Group stock. Markets Insider reported on October 2, 2026 that the firm plans an umbrella fund with two sub-portfolios for its EUR 6.6 billion Global Value SICAV. The same release says the structure is subject to shareholder approval.
Two portfolios address liquidity needs
The proposed design separates the strategy into a compounding fund and a distributing fund. The first targets long-term value accretion, while the second is intended to harvest returns through portfolio realizations, giving investors different liquidity choices within one strategy.
Global Value SICAV has generated 4.5 times invested capital since inception, based on performance through June 30, 2026, according to Markets Insider. Partners Group also plans an additional material balance-sheet commitment to the compounding fund alongside new institutional clients.
Analysts reduce valuation expectations
An October 1, 2026 update from Simply Wall St says the fair value estimate fell from CHF 680.00 to CHF 605.00, a reduction of 11.03 percent. The update also cites a CHF 785.00 target lowered from CHF 840.00 and a CHF 680.00 target reduced from CHF 700.00, underscoring the market's more cautious view of the evergreen reset.
H1 results show the earnings tradeoff
The first-half 2026 figures explain why liquidity execution matters. Quartr reported CHF 905 million of management income, up 6.00 percent on a reported basis, while performance income fell 39.00 percent to CHF 216 million in the first half of 2026. Net profit declined 13.00 percent to CHF 502 million, even as fundraising reached USD 16.0 billion, up 31.00 percent year over year.
The company kept its 2026 fundraising guidance at USD 26.0 billion to USD 32.0 billion, while expected performance income was set at 20.00 percent to 25.00 percent of revenue, below the 25.00 percent to 40.00 percent medium-term range cited by Quartr. Recurring management income is therefore cushioning a weaker exit-related fee contribution.
