Porsche AG reported a sharp recovery in operating profit for the first nine months of 2026 while keeping its full-year forecast unchanged. The sports-car maker published the figures on Tuesday, October 27, in a release carried by Porsche AG.
Operating profit rose to 1.74 billion euros from 40 million euros a year earlier. The operating return on sales reached 6.9 percent, compared with 0.2 percent in the prior-year period. Revenue, however, fell 5.9 percent to 25.28 billion euros, while deliveries declined 16 percent to 178,532 vehicles.
Margins improve despite lower volumes
Porsche attributed the stronger result to lower costs linked to its strategic realignment, as well as pricing and product-mix effects. Restructuring costs amounted to about 500 million euros in the first nine months, versus 2.7 billion euros in the same period of 2025. The Automotive EBITDA margin rose to 17.3 percent from 11.9 percent.
Automotive net cashflow increased to 2.50 billion euros from 1.34 billion euros. The company said the increase was mainly supported by proceeds from the sale of its stakes in Bugatti Rimac and the Rimac Group. Those transactions also produced a gain of 593 million euros in the group financial result, making the improvement less representative of recurring operating performance.
Outlook remains unchanged
Porsche continues to expect 2026 group revenue of 35 billion to 36 billion euros and an operating return on sales of 5.5 percent to 7.5 percent. The forecast also calls for an Automotive EBITDA margin of 15 percent to 17 percent, an Automotive net cashflow margin of 5.5 percent to 7.5 percent and a battery-electric share of deliveries between 24 percent and 26 percent.
The planned sale of the wholly owned subsidiary MHP to Tata Consultancy Services adds a further strategic element. Porsche and TCS intend to cooperate on digital solutions and artificial intelligence, with completion subject to closing conditions and expected within the following 12 months.
