PVA TePla is approaching its next results checkpoint after a mixed second quarter and downward revisions to earnings expectations. The company is scheduled to publish its third-quarter 2026 report on Thursday, November 5, according to its investor relations calendar.
Second-quarter earnings remain the focus
In an update read on Tuesday, Simply Wall Street said PVA TePla's second-quarter revenue rose 8.0 percent year over year to 65.7 million euros. At the same time, earnings per share moved to a loss of 0.04 euros from a profit of 0.13 euros in the year-earlier quarter, while the company posted a net loss of 721,000 euros.
The figures leave investors focused on the conversion of demand into profitable growth. The upcoming report should provide a fresh indication of order activity, project timing and margin recovery after the weaker earnings performance in the first half.
Estimates point to a higher hurdle
Simply Wall Street reported that the 2026 consensus earnings-per-share estimate had been reduced to 0.478 euros from 0.535 euros. The consensus revenue forecast remained at 268.0 million euros, while the average analyst price target was broadly unchanged at 44.88 euros. These estimates frame the third-quarter release as a test of whether revenue momentum can translate into stronger profitability.
PVA TePla's investor relations materials show that 2025 revenue reached 244.3 million euros, with EBITDA of 25 million euros and an EBITDA margin of 10.4 percent. Order intake stood at 267.6 million euros. Management's medium-term strategy targets consolidated revenue of around 500 million euros, with Metrology and Material Solutions as the central operating areas.
The company identifies Metrology as its strongest growth driver, citing increasingly complex chip architectures and inspection requirements for advanced three-dimensional chips. It is also expanding sales, production and service capacity in Asia and North America, making execution and demand visibility important issues for investors beyond the next quarterly release.
Next dates for shareholders
Alongside the quarterly publication on November 5, PVA TePla has scheduled a conference call after the release. The company is also due to appear at the German Equity Forum on November 23.
German equities are tracked in the DAX market environment.
