PVA TePla reported record order intake for the first nine months of 2026 on Thursday, November 5, while quarterly profitability improved from the previous two quarters. The results were published by finanzen.net at 07:00 CET.

Record Orders Meet Mixed Margins

Group order intake rose 55 percent year over year to EUR 273.4 million through the first three quarters, compared with EUR 176.5 million a year earlier. The book-to-bill ratio increased to 1.50 from 1.01, while Metrology order intake jumped 76 percent to EUR 148.4 million and accounted for 54 percent of the total.

Revenue increased about 4 percent to EUR 181.8 million over the nine-month period. Third-quarter revenue rose 12 percent to EUR 62.7 million, with Metrology revenue reaching EUR 35.6 million. Material Solutions revenue declined to EUR 27.1 million in the quarter from EUR 31.4 million a year earlier.

Quarterly Recovery, Annual Pressure

Profitability remained uneven. Nine-month EBITDA fell to EUR 10.4 million from approximately EUR 18.7 million, and the EBITDA margin declined to 5.7 percent from 10.7 percent. The company cited lower capacity utilization, strategic development costs, upfront expenses and first-half one-off effects of about EUR 5 million.

The quarterly trend was more favorable: third-quarter EBITDA rose to EUR 6.0 million from EUR 3.0 million in the second quarter, while the EBITDA margin reached 9.6 percent. Gross margin improved to 30.8 percent, above the prior-year level.

Management expects the operating improvement to continue in the fourth quarter and confirmed 2026 revenue guidance of EUR 255 million to EUR 275 million. EBITDA is expected at the lower end of the EUR 26 million to EUR 31 million range, while the company sees a noticeable acceleration in revenue growth and profitability from 2027.
