Quanta Services raised its 2026 financial expectations after reporting record third-quarter results on October 29. In its official investor release, the infrastructure contractor said demand broadened across utility, power generation, industrial and technology customers.

Record quarter supports higher guidance

Revenue for the three months ended September 30 reached USD 12.01 billion, compared with USD 7.63 billion a year earlier. Net income attributable to common stock was USD 694.9 million, or USD 4.55 per diluted share. Adjusted diluted earnings per share came to USD 6.06, up from USD 3.33 in the prior-year quarter.

Quanta reported adjusted EBITDA of USD 1.45 billion and operating cash flow of USD 1.45 billion. Free cash flow reached USD 1.20 billion. The companys total backlog stood at USD 63.7 billion at the end of the quarter, while remaining performance obligations were USD 41.8 billion.

Management lifts 2026 targets

Quanta now expects full-year revenue of USD 41.3 billion to USD 41.6 billion, compared with a previous range of USD 39.3 billion to USD 39.7 billion. Adjusted diluted earnings per share are expected at USD 17.90 to USD 18.30, and adjusted EBITDA at USD 4.40 billion to USD 4.49 billion.

The updated outlook also calls for operating cash flow of USD 3.45 billion to USD 4.00 billion and free cash flow of USD 2.50 billion to USD 3.00 billion. Management said continued backlog growth could support strong double-digit adjusted EPS growth in 2027, although project timing, weather, permitting and supply-chain conditions remain relevant risks.
