Bertikow storage project
In a release dated October 14, 2026, SMA Solar Technology AG said it is supplying the central system technology for the Bertikow battery storage project. The facility is planned with 200 megawatts of power and 840 megawatt-hours of storage capacity. SMA said the project will use 29 Medium Voltage Power Stations 9200 and Sunny Central Storage UP-S 4600 battery inverters. The release said construction had begun and that commissioning is planned for 2027.
