- STRABAG raised its 2026 output and EBIT margin guidance after a strong first half.
- The record order backlog improves visibility, but execution and margin delivery remain central investor tests.
- The January-September trading statement is scheduled for November 12, following a quiet period from November 5 to November 11.
STRABAG is entering the final stretch before its next operating update with higher 2026 targets and a record order backlog. On its investor-relations page, the company says first-half output reached 10 billion euros and the backlog rose to a record 36 billion euros. CEO Stefan Kratochwill linked the stronger outlook to infrastructure demand in Germany and international markets.
Higher targets meet full backlog
Management raised its 2026 guidance after the strong first half. The company now expects output to approach 23 billion euros and is targeting an EBIT margin of 5.5% to 6%. Net investments remain capped at no more than 1.5 billion euros.
The backlog gives STRABAG greater visibility into future activity, but it does not remove execution risk. Investors will focus on whether the group can convert the contracted workload into the higher output and margin levels embedded in the updated targets.
November statement sets next test
STRABAG has scheduled its trading statement for January through September 2026 on Thursday, November 12. A quiet period runs from Thursday, November 5, through Wednesday, November 11, according to the company calendar. The statement should provide a fresh view of order intake, backlog conversion and construction activity before the year-end phase.
