T-Mobile US enters the week of November 2-8 with the final round of its Friday Night 5G Lights competition underway. The company announced the development on October 29 in an investor-relations release.
Final vote runs through November 8
Fans can vote once a day through Sunday, November 8, for one of four division champions. The winning school will receive a USD 1 million football-field upgrade and a tailgate celebration, while T-Mobile plans to announce the result on November 12.
The company said more than 2.3 million votes had been cast before the final round. The competition began with nearly 2,500 schools, 40 of which became division finalists. Each of the four remaining schools has already secured USD 250,000, a Gronk Fitness gym upgrade and a USD 5,000 student leadership award.
Business relevance remains indirect
The program is a customer-facing community initiative rather than a new financial forecast. For investors, the more direct recent reference point is T-Mobile's third-quarter earnings event on October 28, which the company highlights on its investor-relations site alongside its latest news releases and reports.
