- T-Mobile US reported stronger service revenue, postpaid service revenue and net income in the third quarter.
- The company raised its outlook for core adjusted EBITDA and adjusted free cash flow.
- T-Mix plans and a new 5 Gig fiber tier expand the company’s connectivity and bundling strategy.
T-Mobile US reported stronger operating and financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, while raising key full-year cash-flow and profitability targets. The company also introduced T-Mix wireless plans and a 5 Gig fiber offer as it seeks to deepen customer relationships beyond mobile service.
Quarterly growth supports higher targets
In its October 28 earnings release, T-Mobile US said total service revenue rose 6 percent year over year to 19.4 billion US dollars. Postpaid service revenue increased 9 percent to 16.3 billion US dollars, while net income climbed 27 percent to 3.5 billion US dollars.
The company attributed the performance to postpaid net account and postpaid average revenue per account growth that exceeded its original expectations. The release also reported diluted earnings per share of 3.22 US dollars, up 34 percent from a year earlier.
T-Mobile US lifted its full-year core adjusted EBITDA outlook to between 37.35 billion and 37.45 billion US dollars. The midpoint is higher than the previous range of 37.1 billion to 37.5 billion US dollars. Adjusted free cash flow, including payments linked to the UScellular merger, is now expected to range from 18.7 billion to 18.8 billion US dollars, compared with a previous range of 18.4 billion to 18.8 billion US dollars.
New plans target broader household demand
The company’s commercial push continued on November 2. T-Mobile announced a 5 Gig T-Mobile Fiber plan priced at 90 US dollars per month with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. The offer includes a 10-year price guarantee and became available on November 3.
T-Mobile also said T-Mix plans would let customers choose benefits across categories such as streaming, music, gaming, travel and food delivery, with the ability to change their mix as needs evolve. The strategy is designed to give the carrier more ways to bundle wireless, broadband and digital services.
For investors, the latest developments reinforce a growth narrative built on postpaid account expansion, higher customer spending and additional broadband products. The main execution question is whether richer benefits and promotional offers can attract and retain customers without putting undue pressure on margins or increasing churn.
Investor focus shifts to execution
The raised financial targets provide a stronger near-term operating framework, but the new consumer offers still need to translate into durable customer growth and cash generation. Upcoming updates on postpaid accounts, average revenue per account, broadband adoption and promotional intensity will therefore remain important indicators for the equity story.
