Drawing Deadline Comes Into Focus

The 2026 Annual Shareholder Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, at 3:00 PM Central Time at Tesla's headquarters in Austin. A random drawing will determine which eligible shareholders can attend in person, and selected participants must confirm their identity with valid government-issued identification.

Applicants must provide evidence that they owned Tesla shares as of October 13, 2026. Tesla says no purchase or payment is required to enter, and invitations cannot be transferred. The company expects to begin communicating attendee selections during the week of November 16.

Virtual Access Remains Available

Shareholders who do not receive an in-person invitation can still join the virtual meeting if they meet Tesla's eligibility requirements. The online event will include the public livestream as well as the ability to submit votes and written comments on meeting items. Access requires a unique 16-digit control number.
