Texas Instruments reported strong third-quarter growth on October 21, 2026, as revenue advanced across its main end markets. The company's financial release shows revenue of 6.06 billion US dollars, net income of 2.43 billion US dollars and diluted earnings per share of 2.62 US dollars.
Broad demand lifts quarterly results
Revenue increased 28 percent from the third quarter of 2025 and 11 percent sequentially. Operating profit rose 73 percent to 2.87 billion US dollars, while net income increased 78 percent. Earnings per share rose 77 percent from 1.48 US dollars a year earlier.
Analog revenue grew 32 percent to 4.91 billion US dollars, and Embedded Processing revenue increased 21 percent to 858 million US dollars. Revenue in the company's other segment declined 6 percent to 286 million US dollars.
Management said industrial revenue increased more than 40 percent year over year and automotive revenue grew in the mid-teens. Data-center revenue rose about 95 percent year over year and 20 percent sequentially, according to the earnings-call transcript. The data-center business represented about 13 percent of third-quarter revenue.
Guidance points to sustained momentum
Texas Instruments expects fourth-quarter revenue between 5.80 billion and 6.30 billion US dollars, with earnings per share between 2.45 and 2.79 US dollars. Management identified industrial, automotive and data-center markets as the main drivers of the outlook.
Chief Executive Haviv Ilan described data-center demand as strong and growing, with limited seasonal influence. He also pointed to increasing semiconductor content in industrial equipment and recovering automotive demand. The company is investing in manufacturing capacity to support higher output as demand broadens.
The third-quarter earnings release said trailing twelve-month operating cash flow reached 9.90 billion US dollars and non-GAAP free cash flow 8.42 billion US dollars. The free-cash-flow figure includes benefits related to the US CHIPS Act, so investors should distinguish the reported non-GAAP measure from operating cash flow.
Stock trades above Friday close
Texas Instruments stock traded at 271.80 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 12:02 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026, 0.89 percent above the Xetra close of Friday, October 30. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Texas Instruments stock.
The combination of stronger industrial demand, an improving automotive market and rapid data-center growth gives the outlook a broader base than a single end-market recovery. At the same time, manufacturing investments and the cyclical nature of semiconductor demand remain important factors for margins and cash generation.
The company also declared a fourth-quarter cash dividend of 1.52 US dollars per share, payable November 10, 2026, to eligible shareholders. The next major investor focus is the delivery of the fourth-quarter outlook and evidence that industrial and automotive demand can remain firm.
The broader US equity backdrop is shaped by developments in the S&P 500 and the technology sector.
