- Texas Instruments highlighted European customer work in robotics, automotive, energy and connected outdoor products.
- The company introduced a multiprotocol communications module and a dual-channel IO-Link master for connected factories.
- Electronica 2026 in Munich is the next scheduled showcase for the new industrial technologies.
Texas Instruments used the week to strengthen its industrial technology narrative. In a Nov. 3 release, Texas Instruments marked 70 years of operations in Europe and highlighted work with ABB Robotics, Porsche, Schneider Electric and Husqvarna Group.
The company linked those customer relationships to industrial automation, next-generation vehicles, AI data-center power systems and connected outdoor products. TI said its European presence is focused on helping customers develop more autonomous and AI-driven systems, while its portfolio covers analog and embedded processing applications.
Connectivity products target factories
On Nov. 5, TI announced the TICS100MOD multiprotocol communications system-on-module and the TIOM2212 dual-channel IO-Link master. The company release said the TICS100MOD supports EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and Profinet on one piece of hardware. Engineers can switch protocols through firmware updates rather than redesigning the hardware.
The TIOM2212 connects sensors and actuators to higher-level Industrial Ethernet networks. Preproduction quantities of the IO-Link master are available now, while TI plans to make the communications module available by year-end 2026. The products are intended to reduce design complexity in factory automation, robotics and Industrial Internet of Things systems.
Electronica sets the next milestone
TI will present the new industrial communications technology at electronica in Munich from Nov. 10 to 13, including demonstrations in Hall C4, booth 159. For investors, the event offers a near-term window into how TI is positioning analog, embedded processing and connectivity products across industrial and AI-related applications.
