VINCI stock is in focus after subsidiary Warbud won a Warsaw concert hall contract worth EUR 149 million. Completion is scheduled for 2030.

Contract strengthens Polish construction pipeline

  • Warbud will build Poland's largest concert hall as part of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum project in Warsaw.
  • VINCI expects completion in 2030, while the group continues to benefit from construction activity in Poland.
  • The project expands Warbud's portfolio of major cultural facilities and adds a long-term reference project for VINCI Construction.

VINCI announced on Wednesday, October 28, that its Polish subsidiary Warbud had won a EUR 149 million contract from the City of Warsaw. The award covers the second phase of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum, the planned new home of the Sinfonia Varsovia symphony orchestra. VINCI said the works are expected to be completed in 2030.

The centerpiece will be a 1,877-seat concert hall, which will be Poland's largest. The project also includes music production and broadcasting facilities, the renovation and connection of two historic buildings with a combined floor area of 2,185 square metres, a public garden and a 400-metre suspended promenade.

Warbud expands cultural project portfolio

For Warbud, the contract adds another high-profile cultural project to a portfolio that includes the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Bialystok, the headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, the Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. That track record can strengthen the subsidiary's position in future public tenders, although the financial contribution from this individual project will be spread across several years.

VINCI has operated in Poland through VINCI Construction, VINCI Energies and VINCI Immobilier for many years. The group said it employs more than 4,000 people in the country and generated nearly EUR 1 billion in revenue there in 2025. The Warsaw award therefore adds to an established local presence rather than marking a first entry into the market.

The contract also fits VINCI's broader construction profile. At the end of September, the group reported a EUR 75.4 billion order book for VINCI Energies, Cobra IS and VINCI Construction, up 7 percent year on year, while order intake reached EUR 49.6 billion. The order book represented 14 months of average activity, according to the company's October 22 business update. The Warsaw project is small relative to that group backlog, but its defined value and long delivery period provide additional visibility for the construction business.

The real-time quote of VINCI stock was 108.58 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:39 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026.
