Vincom Retail stock falls 1.89 percent in HOSE trading
Published on 10/07/2026 at 10:26 | Editorial responsibility: Rafael Müller, Editor-in-Chief AD HOC NEWSVincom Retail stock (ISIN VN000000VRE6) fell 1.89 percent to VND 23.35 thousand in HOSE trading on October 7, 2026, with 717,400 shares changing hands by 11:27 a.m. ICT. The move comes against a stronger operating picture in the latest reported quarter, but analysts also highlight the role of financial income and one-off effects.
Quarterly profit rises faster
Vincom Retail reported second-quarter 2026 net revenue of VND 2,373.9 billion, up 10.8 percent from the same quarter a year earlier. Net profit reached VND 1,608.5 billion, an increase of 30.4 percent, while gross profit rose 18.3 percent to VND 1,398.3 billion, according to 24HMoney in data for Q2/2026.
The figures show a widening gap between revenue and earnings growth. Financial income reached VND 844.7 billion in the quarter, up 24.8 percent year over year, while the reported net margin was 67.8 percent, compared with 57.6 percent in Q2/2025. For investors, the quality of profit remains important because financial income contributed materially to the quarterly result.
Vietcap raises target
In a report dated September 4, 2026, Vietcap raised its Vincom Retail target from VND 34.2 thousand to VND 35.6 thousand and upgraded its recommendation from Market Perform to Buy, as reported by Kinh Te Chung Khoan. The new target lies 52.5 percent above the October 7 price of VND 23.35 thousand.
Vietcap forecasts 2026 net profit after minority interests at VND 5,582 billion, down 13.4 percent from 2025 because the prior year included a VND 1,900 billion pretax gain from a stake transfer. At the same time, the research house expects core profit to grow 9 percent, with retail leasing revenue forecast at VND 9,461 billion, up 13 percent.
Stock stays above yearly low
Vincom Retail's October 7 price stood above the 52-week low of VND 21.3 thousand and below the 52-week high of VND 41.92 thousand. The company had a market capitalization of VND 53.1 trillion as of October 7, 2026, giving the daily decline a relatively large market-value context.
The medium-term investment case depends on two operating levers: occupancy and the timing of shophouse sales. Vietcap expects the retail leasing business to remain the main revenue source in 2026, while 211,000 square meters of shophouse inventory could begin contributing from 2027. Its stated risks include slower leasing profit growth, delayed shophouse sales and slower implementation of projects developed with Vingroup and Vinhomes.
Vincom Retail stock trades lower
Vincom Retail stock was last at VND 23.35 thousand on HOSE on October 7, 2026 at 11:27 a.m. ICT. The combination of a 1.89 percent intraday decline and second-quarter profit growth of 30.4 percent leaves earnings quality and recurring leasing performance as the key numbers for the next valuation debate.
