The AEX closed at 1,135.49 points on October 12, gaining 4.5 points, or 0.4 percent, according to Investing.com. The index reached a new all-time high as financial and data stocks offset weakness in semiconductors and retail.
Adyen was the strongest AEX constituent, rising 3.9 percent after expanding its payment partnership with FC Bayern Munich, De Aandeelhouder reported.
