The BNB price remains in focus as Binance moves from containment to a phased restoration of withdrawals. In its November 1 recovery update, the exchange said the first phase was scheduled for 06:00 to 09:00 UTC, with BNB withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain among the assets to be progressively reopened. Deposits remain open.
At the time read, Investing.com displayed BNB at 705.30 USD. The page also listed a market capitalization of 92.62 billion USD, 24-hour volume of 1.05 billion USD, a rank of fourth, and a circulating supply of 131.51 million BNB. Recovery is moving in phases
According to Binance's Recovery Update #4, the initial rollout also covers BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP, ZEC and DOGE across selected networks. The exchange said each network and asset combination would be restored only after stability and security checks. It warned that heavy traffic could cause temporary delays during the initial rollout.
Binance said approximately 95% of the impacted amount had been covered, up from approximately 90% in the previous update. It said BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC balances were fully backed at a 100% ratio. The remaining 5% consists of less-liquid tokens that the exchange says take longer to source.
Security incident remains unresolved
The event began at around 20:05 UTC on October 29, when Binance said its hot wallets were compromised. In an earlier security update, the exchange estimated the impact at approximately 6.3 billion USD and said around 3 billion USD had been frozen on-chain. Binance also said it would absorb the losses through its Secure Asset Fund for Users and corporate funds, while the investigation continued.
For investors, the recovery schedule reduces an immediate operational risk but does not settle the broader security question. The final technical post-mortem, the completion of asset replenishment and the reliability of the phased withdrawal process remain relevant to the BNB price and to confidence in Binance's ecosystem.
