Brazil's September vehicle sales, vehicle production and IGP-DI wholesale inflation are scheduled during the morning. The first releases are listed for 8:00 a.m. BRT, with production and new-car registrations scheduled for 10:00 a.m. BRT, according to The Rio Times. The previous IGP-DI reading was 0.06 percent, while the previous vehicle-production reading was a 6.8 percent monthly increase.
The Federal Reserve's latest meeting minutes are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. BRT, adding a US rates event to the Brazilian session's agenda, according to TradeMap. Brazil's September trade surplus was reported at USD 7.74 billion, above the USD 7.19 billion forecast, as noted by The Rio Times.
The next scheduled political milestone for Brazilian equities is the presidential runoff on October 25.
