Chainlink price is being watched as the oracle provider expands its infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets. Chainlink launched its Chainlink 24/7 service on October 29, extending reference pricing for stocks, commodities and other traditional assets across weekends and market holidays.
According to CoinDesk, the service combines regular and extended-session prices with quotes from perpetual futures venues when traditional markets are closed. The resulting off-hours reference is therefore based on derivatives trading rather than transactions on a closed stock or commodity exchange.
Aave provides the first institutional use case
Aave is adopting Chainlink 24/7 feeds for Horizon, its institutional lending platform, initially to value tokenized versions of heavily traded U.S. stocks. The use case addresses a practical issue for onchain lending: blockchain markets remain open around the clock, while the underlying traditional markets generally do not.
Chainlink said its existing weekday infrastructure covered more than USD 1.6 billion in tokenized stocks. The new service is designed to create one continuous price series by switching between trading-session data and off-hours references. Chainlink Data Feeds publish prices directly on blockchains for applications such as lending, while Data Streams offer faster updates for trading platforms and prediction markets.
LINK remains below its 52-week high
When checked on November 7, 2026, the Investing.com Chainlink page displayed LINK at USD 10.853 at 18:59:49 Berlin time. The page showed a market capitalization of USD 8.12 billion, 24-hour volume of USD 288.35 million and 748.10 million LINK in circulation. Its displayed 52-week range was USD 7.003 to USD 16.766.
That snapshot places the token below its reported 52-week high, but the infrastructure rollout gives investors a business-use context beyond short-term token sentiment. The key question is whether continuous pricing leads to broader deployment of tokenized collateral and sustained demand for Chainlink services. The off-hours reference also carries a specific risk: it can diverge from the next opening price in the underlying traditional market, especially when derivatives liquidity is thin.
