- Binance included DOGE in the first phase of its withdrawal-service reopening on November 1, 2026.
- The Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge ended their exclusive trademark agreement effective October 19.
- Investing.com listed DOGE/USD at 0.075730 USD, with a market capitalization of 13.03 billion USD.
Dogecoin price remained near 0.076 USD as investors assessed two recent developments: Binance's phased restoration of withdrawals and a restructuring of the Dogecoin Foundation's commercial trademark arrangements.
Investing.com listed DOGE/USD at 0.075730 USD when the page was read on November 2, 2026. The same page showed a 24-hour volume of 301.91 million USD, a market capitalization of 13.03 billion USD, rank 11, and a circulating supply of 172.28 billion DOGE. Its displayed 52-week range was 0.067913 to 0.188792 USD.
Binance reopens withdrawal access
Binance said in its official November 1 announcement that DOGE was included in the first phase of a phased withdrawal-service resumption. The exchange said each network and asset combination would be restored only after security and stability checks. It also said approximately 95 percent of the affected assets had been procured, while the remaining assets were being obtained through market and over-the-counter channels.
For DOGE holders, the reopening restores the possibility of transferring coins away from the exchange, although inclusion in the first phase does not establish that every DOGE withdrawal route opened simultaneously. Binance said some assets were fully backed in its latest reserve snapshot, but DOGE was not among the balances specifically listed in that statement. That omission does not by itself prove a reserve shortfall, but it leaves the coin's separate backing figure unresolved in the disclosed data.
Commercial structure changes
House of Doge's Form 8-K filed with the SEC states that the previous exclusive trademark agreement with the Dogecoin Foundation was mutually terminated effective October 19. House of Doge and its subsidiary agreed to stop using the marks in their corporate names before December 31, 2026, and to pay the Foundation 400,000 USD when sufficient funds are available.
The replacement license is non-exclusive and limited primarily to specified 21Shares investment products. The filing also describes an asset-transfer agreement involving Dogecoin Labs, but notes that the transaction had not closed. The changes therefore affect the commercial use of the Dogecoin brand without changing the underlying DOGE protocol.
Investor context
The Dogecoin price remains well below its displayed 52-week high, while the recent exchange event adds a custody and liquidity consideration for market participants. The reopening of withdrawals is operationally positive for users seeking transfer access, but the effect on turnover and price formation cannot be established from the announcement alone. Investors should distinguish exchange-specific risk from the cryptocurrency's network and market risks. Dogecoin's official website describes it as an open-source, peer-to-peer digital currency.
Further developments around Binance's reserve disclosures and the implementation of the new trademark structure are the next relevant checkpoints for DOGE holders. This article is market context, not a recommendation to buy or sell.
