- Canton's network website says more than 650 firms have connected over the past two years and reports more than 300 billion US dollars in daily U.S. Treasury repo settlements through Broadridge.
- Investing.com displayed CC at 0.09660 USD at retrieval, with a market capitalization of 3.87 billion USD and 13.38 million USD in 24-hour volume.
The Canton price is being watched after the Depository Trust Company, a subsidiary of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, launched the DTCC Tokenization Service on October 28, 2026. In its announcement, the Canton Network described the service as infrastructure for bringing tokenized securities into regulated financial markets, with the stated aim of improving asset movement, liquidity access and collateral mobilization.
The development matters for CC because it links the network's institutional adoption story to a live market-infrastructure initiative rather than only to a technical roadmap. The Canton website presents access to the DTCC Tokenization Service on the network and lists tokenized U.S. Treasuries, equities and exchange-traded funds among the use cases.
Institutional adoption is the central investment theme
In an October 22 update, Canton said more than 650 firms had connected to the network during the previous two years. The same Canton Summit report said Broadridge settles more than 300 billion US dollars in U.S. Treasury repo transactions on Canton each day. It also named institutions including JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Nasdaq, Societe Generale and Lloyds as building or transacting on the network.
These figures are company-published ecosystem claims and should not be read as a guarantee of demand for CC. The key question for investors is how much network activity ultimately translates into token usage, fee demand and supply effects. The October DTCC launch provides a concrete adoption milestone, but its long-term impact on the token depends on actual transaction volumes and the economic design of the network.

The displayed spot reading is not presented as a verified UTC day-close comparison. For investors, the combination of institutional announcements and a still-developing token economy makes adoption data more important than short-term price narratives. CC remains exposed to crypto-market volatility, implementation risk and the uncertainty over how quickly institutional pilots become recurring production activity.
