Oil and yields pressure European equities
European shares came under pressure as Brent crude rose above USD 100 amid renewed Middle East tensions and supply concerns. Reuters said higher oil prices and rising bond yields weighed on stocks after three consecutive gains.
French fiscal concerns also returned to focus. The French-German 10-year yield spread widened to 131 basis points, while the euro fell 0.47 percent to USD 1.1208, according to Euronext.

The Federal Reserve's minutes from its September meeting were scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CEST, according to XTB.
The next session will begin on Thursday, October 8, with investors focused on energy prices, European sovereign yields and the scheduled release of the ECB's monetary policy meeting account.
