The FTSE MIB was at 50,006 points at 1:00 p.m. CEST on October 14, down 51 points or 0.1 percent from Tuesday's close. Bank weakness offset gains in technology and luxury shares as markets awaited US inflation data, Teleborsa reported.
Monte dei Paschi was down 0.3 percent after proxy adviser ISS urged shareholders to reject its proposed acquisitions of Banco BPM and Banca Generali, plus a EUR 4 billion special dividend, Trading Economics said.
Why is the FTSE MIB lower at midday?
