The Hyperliquid price was listed at 86.8940 USD on the Investing.com page checked for November 4, 2026. The displayed move was plus 0.93 percent, with a reported 24-hour range of 82.6990 to 87.2860 USD. The same page showed a market capitalization of 21.75 billion USD, 24-hour volume of 1.24 billion USD and a rank of 9. These are live-market data points rather than a UTC daily close.
Burns support the supply case
Tokenomics remain a central part of the HYPE investment debate. Hyperliquid's official website says HYPE has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens and is used for staking, governance, gas fees, trading-fee discounts and asset deployment fees. It also says 99 percent of protocol revenue is directed to the Assistance Fund, which purchases HYPE and burns tokens held there.
TokenPost reported cumulative permanent burns of 49.87 million HYPE, equivalent to 4.99 percent of the maximum supply. Its report, published October 29, identified 19,700 HYPE as the latest 24-hour burn and estimated fees for that period at 1.69 million USD. The cumulative burn and the one-day figures describe different periods and should not be conflated.
Unlock adds a near-term variable
Supply reduction is being weighed against a planned team distribution. TokenPost reported that 180,000 HYPE was scheduled to be unlocked on October 28 for distribution to team members on November 6. The release date and distribution date are separate events. As crypto.news noted, an allocation entering circulation does not necessarily mean immediate selling because recipients can retain, stake or transfer tokens.
ICE proposal remains conditional
Crypto.news also reported that Intercontinental Exchange and Trade[XYZ] announced an agreement on October 29 to develop a regulated US perpetual-futures platform using Hyperliquid infrastructure. The revised communication emphasized identity checks, anti-money-laundering procedures and regulated intermediaries. Final regulatory approval has not been granted, and no launch date or initial contracts have been announced. For HYPE holders, the proposal therefore represents a potential adoption catalyst, not a completed revenue source.
The Hyperliquid price is consequently exposed to two opposing supply narratives: recurring burns may reduce tokens over time, while the November distribution introduces a defined event risk. The market data above show the current level, but neither the burn mechanism nor the proposed ICE venue removes the token's volatility or execution risks.
