The Monero price stood at 608.082 USD at 07:18:28 Berlin time on November 3, 2026, according to Investing.com. The page displayed a daily gain of 4.810 USD, or 0.80 percent, with November 3 at 00:00 UTC serving as the relevant daily reference point. The quoted price was near the top of a displayed intraday range of 593.554 to 609.068 USD.
Network upgrade remains in testing
Monero developers released beta stressnet v3.1 on October 26 for testing the FCMP++ privacy upgrade, according to a report by CoinEdition via CryptoNews.net. The release added faster wallet scanning and denial-of-service protections and fixed an inflation vulnerability on the experimental network. FCMP++ is intended to replace Monero's current ring of 16 outputs with proofs covering eligible outputs across the blockchain.
The release is not a mainnet activation. No mainnet launch date has been announced, so the upgrade remains a development and testing factor rather than an operational change for all XMR users.
Technical levels frame the outlook
The same analysis placed the 50-day exponential moving average at 554.05 USD and the upper channel area near 624.21 USD. A daily close above 627 USD was identified as a condition that could open the way toward the late-October wick high near 658 USD. Conversely, a close below 554.05 USD would put the channel median near 534 USD in focus. These are analytical levels, not forecasts or trading instructions.
The report also described November seasonality as mixed. Its cited CryptoRank data showed a median November return of minus 1.85 percent, while the average gain of 11.6 percent was heavily influenced by two strong historical years. Historical seasonality does not determine the next price move.
Privacy risks remain separate
Recent reporting also highlighted a data leak at Monero swap service Wagyu.xyz. The report said records linked some swap deposits with Monero receiving addresses and client IP addresses, while noting that the available evidence did not demonstrate a breach of Monero's cryptography or on-chain privacy. For investors, the distinction matters: service-provider data handling can create exposure even when the underlying protocol has not been compromised.
Monero's market narrative therefore combines active protocol development with exchange, regulatory and service-provider risks. The Monero topic page provides further coverage of XMR-related developments.
